Ifalongerpowercablerunisrequired,usethesuppliedpowercabletoconnect
tothedisplayunit.Thenuseasuitableconnectorblocktoconnectthefreeend
totheextensioncable, takingparticularcare to ensurecorrectpolarity. The
suppliedpowercablehas a cross-sectionof2.0 mm

.
Note:For repeater displays,thepowercablemaybe extendedby up to20m
usinga wiregauge of 1.5 mm
2
(AWG16) or greater,irrespectiveoftheinter-
unitcable length.
Inter-Unit Scanner Cable
Theinter-unit(scanner)cableentranceis at the rearofthescannerunit.Ifthe
unitismountedonahollowmastthecablemayberuninsidethemastandthen
fedthroughtheradar’scableentrance.Makesurethatthecabledoesnotchafe
whereit enters themast.
Note:Route the cable fromthedisplayup to the scanner,since thiswillre-
quirethe smallestclearancehole.
Thetypeof inter-unitcable,for connectingthe scannerto the displayunit,
dependson your scannerpackage.RefertothePathfinderPlusRadar
ScannerOwner’sHandbookfor details,which includelengthconsiderations
andbending radii.
