Information
Using Route Information to Review Your Passage Plan
Youcanviewdataforallthewaypointsinthecurrentroute,oranysavedroute.
Youselecttheroutefromthedatabaselistandtheinformationisdisplayedina
RouteInformationpop-up;the followingdetailsare providedfor each
waypoint:
Position
Bearing(fromprevious waypoint)
Lengthof leg (frompreviouswaypoint)
TotalLength
Time (ETA or Elapsed)
Softkeys are providedto toggle thetimebetween ETA or elapsedand to
changethe SpeedOverGround (SOG) value;theETA foreach waypointis
calculatedusingtheselectedSOG,soyoucanchangetheSOGtodetermineits
effect on your ETA.

➤ To displayinformationabout any routeinthe database:
1. Pressthe ROUTE softkey, followedby MORE,thenpressROUTE LIST.The
routelistisdisplayed.The selectionbar indicatestheselectedroute.
2. Usethetrackpadtoselecttherequiredroute,thenpresstheROUTE INFO soft
key.
TheRouteInformationpop-up isdisplayed.As illustrated inFigure 5-8,
thisliststhewaypoints in therouteand detailsbearing,lengthof eachleg,
totaldistance,andeithertheestimatedtimeof arrival(ETA)ortheelapsed
time.
Thesoftkeys allowyoutotogglebetweenETAortotal(elapsed)time,
andto changetheSpeedOver Ground (SOG) valueusedin thetimecalcu-
lations.Thecurrent selectionsare highlighted.
➤ To changethe SOG used for ETA calculations:
1. Pressone of the PLANNED SOG keys to switch from actualto plannedSOG.
2. PresstheupordownPLANNED SOG keystochangetheplannedSOGvalue.
TheTime valuesintheRoute Informationlistareupdated.
3. Pressthe ACTUAL SOG key to usetheactualSOG value ratherthan a
plannedone.
