Turn rate limit

This limits your boat’s rate of turn under SmartPilot X system control. It is only

effective if your speed is greater than 12 knots.

1. Use < or > to increase or decrease the setting.

to accept the new value.

Joystick control

Note: This is not available on SeaTalk

. Joystick operation is available only with an ST8002

control head or Joystick connected via SeaTalk.

Latitude compass damping

If no valid latitude data is available, the SmartPilot

X system will use this setting, which provides the

necessary adaptation for higher latitudes.

Screen Text Range

Turn Rate

1° to 30° per second in 1° steps

Setting Effect

Proportional

The steering will behave in proportion to the movement of the joystick

or rotary wheel on an ST8002 control head.

Bang Bang

Will move the rudder hard over in the direction the joystick is moved.

Press ENTER to accept.

Turn Rate Limit

Sets the maximum rate of turn

under pilot control.

Joystick Control

Bang Bang

Press ENTER to select.

Latitude Compass Damping
